Here O' Kashmir - A Poem
Santa's beard shimmered by the road,
Bright yet calm and cold.
Here O' Kashmir here I come,
Silent beauty spare me some.
The sun has softened its rays; are you tired ?
Smiled at me through the mountainous drapes.
Grazing all day not costing a dime,
Even the sheep are singing a jolly good rhyme.
Here O' Kashmir here I come,
Silent beauty spare me some.
Hate make its way here; no one dare,
The egg-shaped hilltops are tranquil and rare.
Women wearing head scarf praying together,
Children wearing uniform playing together.
Crystalline lakes, an infinite mirror of its own beauty,
River valleys, the depth of the peaceful winter.
Brotherhood of strangers and the love story of the deer and its dear,
All adds to the beauty of good ol' Kashmir.
Here O' Kashmir here I come,
Silent beauty spare me some.
The egg-shaped hilltops are tranquil and rare,
Hate make its way here; no one dare?e?o
